I jumpstarted my career by working at this Donal Duck magazine’s HQ. A childhood dream come true: I learned from the best comic craftsmen around, became an office-artist doing covers, specials and fillers. And I helped them launch their first website (when company-bosses thought that internet-presence might as well be a hype). Although I left the magazine after 12 years (with a brief return to help them out with ‘Duckworld’), I still create comics. It’s too deep into my veins to ignore it for any long time. And I still enjoy it very much.

Bloeddorst

With an anthology book from Dutch horror comic-artists, Bloeddorst, the brand, started. It began with book-signings (by all artists involved) to (fake-)tattooing at club-parties. Under the radar it still boils with other highlights like shirts and a few spin-off self-published mini-comics. And this motion comic. We still are looking for funds to resurface from the grave with it (see below in the gallery), but good things are happy to wait.
